2.1.4. Combined Defensive Situations

(1) Q: What happens when we combine the principles of on-ball, deny, and help defense in player-to-player, ¼-court defense? 

A: Knowing these principles, we can now combine them all to implement screen defense, as well as defense for several special situations (out-of-bounds, free-throw, and end-of-clock). We will talk about each in the next sections, and finalize player-to-player ¼-court defense with defensive rebounding and combined skills drills.
